Crazy busy summer!!

A long-over-due Post!!!  It's been a hectic summer, more hectic than normal!!

I have been exploring more with needlefelting and I'm having lots of fun.  Sadly I still have limited time to create and I have to keep surpressing my muse, hoping she will be there when I have the free time!!

Having not working with wire for several months I chose a 'safe' option with this Orthoceras Fossil.  An old faithful netted Bezel!!  I have ordered some especially gorgeous cabs from Tela and I can't wait for them to arrive.  I look forward to the time that I am not so tired in the evenings and I am able to sit up 'til the wee hours creating again!!

Paua/Abalone Pendant

As you can see as far as the wire goes I am easing myself back in gently, nothing complicated or taxing!!!

In order to try to be a little organised I will be spending the next few weeks making, ready for Halloween - That's the plan anyway!!

Thanks for reading.  I hope you and your families are all keeping safe and well.

One ought never to turn one's back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half. Never run away from anything. Never!  - flinching, you will reduce the danger by half.

Hi Glenda!!!!! I'm so happy to read your post! I've missed you!

I love the felting, so adorable. Your wire work doesn't look like you took any time off. I've been getting into fossil cabs, so I am real keen on yours. Very nice example.

I know how hectic Summer is with kids home. Now that school is back, I am trying to make a new schedule.

Keep posting and keep your muse up. :)
