Jet, Amber and Wool

In between the last post and this I have been away on our yearly trip to whitby.  I won't drone on about how wonderful I think it is again but if you do ever get the chance to go, especially at Halloween it shouldn't be passed up!  This year the weather was really terrible.   The wind and the rain prevented any pictures being taken.  We did however still get down the cobbled streets to visit my favourite jewellery shop  through the glass at the back can be seen all the tools (Lots of them anyway!) of the trade.  It's what I call a real jewellery shop!  I came away with a lovely stash of already cut and polished jet! - Soon I will get to work on it!!

In another shop I also found two pieces of Amber.  Only one has been made up:-

This can be purchased here

I have since found an online source for Amber and after my first order it was clear I need not look any further!  As a result of ordering the amber I met Matt, owner of the Ebay Store and Website.  As a result he will be offering some of my jewellery for sale.  I should say here that I am pointing you in his direction because I think his amber is good and not because I will be making any commision on sales!!!

I also dusted down the knitting needles to see if I could remember what I was doing!

Purchased on Etsy this is a Tetyana Korobkova's design.  He can be found here

The pattern for this was also purchased on Etsy.  It is designed by Angie Hartley and can be found here

I have also knitted many Tea cosies, egg cosies and cuddlies! The sort of things that don't take long.  I have the attention span of a gnat and if I don't get it done quickly it will simply be added to the 'half finished' pile!
Now I must put down the needles and grab the pliers...Christmas isn't far off!!
