Reach for the Stars.....................

Had a busy day yesterday with no time for creating!!  It was one of those days where you are in company, lovely company, but I had so many ideas floating through my head that i was itching to pick up the pliers!!!  Im back at the pliers now....Phew!

To create this Wire Ballet dancer I followed Tela's Mini Tutorial to be found on her Blog http://telaformosa.blogspot.com/2011/05/free-mini-tutorial.html. It's great you must have a go at it!!

   

This Blue Goldstone arrived on Friday and I couldn't wait to do something with it!!

Up until then I actually thought Goldstone was a stone!! It isn't, it's glass and the glitter effect is created by including copper salts to the glass in the furnace....apparently!?

It's very pretty, it's a very dark blue, almost black and it reminds me of a clear nights sky with lots of sparkly stars!!
There came the theme for the setting of it!!

It needs lots of improvement to make it the way I want it.  This is just the prototype!!  Some time soon I will be cutting the wire from her and starting over, hopefully for the last time!

Along with this Blue Goldstone arrived some more gorgeous stones!!!  Look at the colours!!

Some are going to be very challenging to wrap....LOVE IT!!!Ha ha ha

Isn't this just AMAZING!! It is Turitella Agate. Full of lots of tiny fossilised Sea Creatures!!  It is so amazing it doesn't even make you go 'urghh'!!  It's a very strange shaped stone but as soon as I saw it I wanted it!! So, another challenge..........accepted!!
